The Transportation Estimators’ Association (TEA) was founded in 1998 to support and inform estimation professionals throughout the country.

Our objectives are as follows:

• Improve cost estimating techniques and publish guidelines used by transportation estimators (cost-based, historical-based, and parametric)
• Develop new cost estimating techniques
• Disseminate experiences in cost estimating and new practices through yearly meetings

The TEA also hosts an annual conference for estimators to attend and learn about the newest technologies and methodologies in our industry. The TEA website is currently sponsored by Infotech, developers of Estimator™ and contractors for AASHTOWare Project Estimation™.
